Windsor Awarded Accreditation by New England Association of Schools and Colleges

Windsor School is proud to announce its accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
This recognition highlights excellence in critical areas such as our rigorous curriculum, strong sense of community, dedication to student welfare, and effective strategic leadership.

This achievement reaffirms our commitment to being a school where students flourish, exceptional teaching and learning take place, and all members are inspired to become passionate global citizens. It comes on the heels of Windsor’s accreditation by the Council of International Schools (CIS), another globally respected accreditation agency.
“Windsor School has many strengths. Chief among them is the culture – it is one of warmth, caring and strong relationships between all groups,” NEASC evaluators wrote in their final report. “The teaching observed was excellent and student engagement appeared high. All employees are committed to improvement and growth. The Signature Programs are innovative and progressive.”

NEASC accreditation represents Windsor’s achievement of the most stringent American and international standards in education. We join just 1,500 other independent, public, and international schools with this recognition, which is respected globally, embraced by parents, prospective teachers, colleges, and educational departments around the world.

The significance of this accreditation extends beyond a snapshot assessment; it’s a testament to Windsor’s pledge for continuous evolution and betterment. By working hand-in-hand with NEASC accreditors, Windsor’s staff and leadership have identified specific avenues for development within the school. NEASC will remain an essential accountability partner, supporting us with both short-term targets and the larger-scale projects Windsor has planned. Furthermore, a regular re-accreditation process will ensure our unwavering commitment to progress and high standards.

We extend our deepest gratitude to every member of the Windsor community who contributed their time and effort to this rigorous accreditation. This includes our classroom teachers, Board of Governors, and even our students and families, all of whom played a vital role.
