Harold’s ultra-exclusive Primland Driving Experience Powered by Audi returns bigger and better on September 11-13 after an incredibly successful 2015 event.
Once again the Swiss teams up with nine-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner and FIA world champion Tom Kristensen to offer a unique partner opportunity at Virginia International Raceway. Guests are also treated to accommodation, dinner and a round of golf at the renowned Primland resort, a stunning luxury retreat nestled in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains.
Unquestionably a track day with a difference, this once-in-a-lifetime event offers attendees the chance to join Harold and Tom at the world-class VIR facility, which enjoys scenic surroundings amidst the Virginia countryside.
Piloting a combination of Audi R8s and race prepared RXC Radical cars, guests first learn the 5.3km Full Course with an experienced driving instructor before the ultimate thrill: passenger rides around the circuit with Primat and Le Mans legend Kristensen.
There will also be a chance to challenge Tom and Harold in a karting contest, allowing attendees to test their driving skills against a pair of top-line professional racers.
Guests are then invited to swap cars for clubs and enjoy Primland’s stunning Highland Course, which combines the breathtaking scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains with a professional-standard golfing experience. Designed by respected course architect Donald Steel, it provides a stern test for serious players as well as short game options for those simply looking to unwind on the green.
Upholding a strong commitment to sustainability, Primland is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) registered property and adheres to strict values that ensure its beautiful setting will be protected for future generations.
That philosophy extends to the golf course. Bio-filters are strategically placed to protect Primland’s natural trout streams and rivers, while wetlands remain untouched and are treated as environmentally sensitive areas.
A truly breathtaking experience in every respect.
